1. Rider Cancellation Policy
🔹 Pre Driver Confirmation: Riders may cancel without penalty until a driver has confirmed the booking.
🔹 Post Driver Confirmation: Cancelling after driver acceptance incurs a fixed cancellation fee after grace period.
Ride Type Specific Rules
• City Rides: Grace period: 2 minutes → After grace: i.e., ₹50 cancellation fee
• Rental Rides: Grace period: 10 minutes → After grace: i.e., ₹75 cancellation fee
• Outstation Rides: Grace period: 30 minutes → After grace: i.e., ₹150 cancellation fee
Mid Ride Cancellation (Trip Termination)
• Fare calculated up to the point of cancellation (base + distance + time).
• A modest termination fee applies: i.e., City: ₹50, Rental: ₹75, Outstation: ₹100
2. Driver Cancellation Policy
To maintain service reliability and prevent disruptions:
• Drivers may cancel within limits defined by their subscription plan.
• Daily Limit: Up to 3 cancellations per day.
• Monthly Limit: More than 9 cancellations in a month → profile blacklisted, restricting future bookings.
• Drivers must provide cancellation comments.
• Operations team investigates; justified cases may lead to reinstatement.
• Future performance is monitored closely to ensure accountability.
✅ Exceptions
• No fee if cancellation occurs within grace period (2–3 minutes).
• No fee if driver delay exceeds 10 minutes.
• No termination fee if cancellation is due to verified driver misconduct.
• Riders may request refund review in emergencies.
🔍 Transparency
• Riders see penalty itemized as “Cancellation Fee” in trip summary.
• Penalty is auto debited from wallet/card or added to next invoice.
• Drivers see “Cancellation Compensation” separately in their earnings dashboard.
